Jesse Poppick
As partner and co-founder of Ad Operations Interactive, Jesse Poppick
has worked in the Internet industry for close to ten years. This history
started with Real Media, Inc. in 1998, when he was hired as the sole
Traffic Manager for the Real Media North American Ad Network. In this
role, Mr. Poppick used Open AdStream (OAS), Real Media’s Ad
Management System, on a daily basis. In addition to OAS, Mr. Poppick
was trained to use the DoubleClick DART System, Accipiter, and NetGravity.
In the spring of 1999, Mr. Poppick became Real Media’s Sponsorship
Specialist, which called for handling all aspects of Real Media’s
Sponsorship programs including all trafficking duties. The position
of Technical Account Executive was Mr. Poppick’s next role at
Real Media, where he successfully sold Open AdStream to clients such
as eUniverse, MyCity.com and the St. Petersburg Times. Mr. Poppick
then moved to a position with Cyber Dialogue, Inc., selling eCRM products
and services. At Cyber Dialogue, Mr. Poppick had exposure to Analytical
Database Marketing and Custom Marketing Analysis services such as:
identifying web user trends, building web site visitor profiles, and
selling web user modeling projects. Mr. Poppick returned to Real Media,
Inc. as a Technical Account Executive in the months leading up to
24/7’s acquisition of Real Media, Inc. in 2001. Until founding
Ad Operations Interactive in 2002, Mr. Poppick served as the Vice-President
of Sales and Marketing and Director of G.I.S. Operations at Lupine
Logic, Inc.
Jesse Aguirre
Jesse Aguirre, partner and co-founder of Ad Operations Interactive,
also has close to ten years of experience in online advertising management
and over five years of database development experience. Mr. Aguirre
is proficient in the use and management of popular ad serving technologies
such as DoubleClick’s DART, 24/7 Real Media’s Open AdStream
and Engage’s AdManager. His wide range of Internet ad serving
system expertise makes Mr. Aguirre one of the most skilled and knowledgeable
professionals in ad operations management and trafficking services.
In the years prior to co-founding Ad Operations Interactive, Mr. Aguirre
worked as a Data Analyst and Quality Control Manager for Publicitas
Advertising Services (PAS) in Stamford Connecticut. PAS, a newspaper
oriented advertising firm, was a mayor investor in Real Media, Inc.,
now 24/7 Real Media. In 1999 Mr. Aguirre was invited to join Real
Media as Traffic Manager. A year later, Mr. Aguirre was asked to join
the newly formed Real Media Miami office as Director of Advertising
Operations for all of Latin America. Mr. Aguirre joined StarMedia
in 2001 as Director of Ad Production, supervising all StarMedia interactive
advertising campaigns. In addition, as Director of Ad Production,
Mr. Aguirre was responsible for the management and optimization of
both DoubleClick’s DART and Engage’s AdManager.
